Costa Rica: Climate & Weather
The tropical weather divides the year into two seasons: a rainy season from May to November and a dry season from December to April. There aren't many differences in temperature except those caused by variations in altitude. The Caribbean coast has high humidity for the major part of the year with warm temperatures of around 30°C during the day.
The Central Valley has a temperate climate with an average temperature of 20°C, which seems to set the area within what the residents call, "eternal spring." The dry season is the best time to visit the country, but it's also the busiest. |
