What to do in Port of Spain : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
Located on the island of Trinidad, or Trinidad, Port of Spain, the capital of the two islands, is the principal place of business in the Caribbean. Its population is just under 40,000 inhabitants, and the city is built between the Gulf of Paria, the Caroni swamps and hills. This is where we celebrate the famous Carnival of Trinidad and Tobago, and also where is the international airport, less than 20 km from the center. You can visit the Anglican Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, which was built in the 19th century, the National Museum of Art, the sports leisure park of Queen's Park Savannah, Jama Masjid, stroll along the harbor and admire the pretty houses the Victorian facades. A stroll in the botanical garden you will discover the local flora and diversity. To move the buses are very inexpensive, and there are also taxis.
