Macedonia: Climate & Weather
The climate of the country is of continental type, except in the south where it is more Mediterranean. Winters are cold and the summers warm, but the dry air makes the temperatures bearable, either very low (down to -15 ° C) or very hot (sometimes 40 ° C).
In the mountains, snow falls in abundance and summers are cooler. In the south the winters are milder. The best times to visit the country are late spring, summer and early fall. |
