The island of Koh Samui (also spelled Ko Samui or simply Samui) is located in the Gulf of Thailand, and is the third largest island of the country. Samui is one of the major tourist destinations in Southeast Asia, it has beautiful sandy beaches lined with palm trees, clear waters teeming with seafood, and many water activities available to travelers.
You can practice surfing, diving and windsurfing as well as a clubbing thanks to an intense nightlife. Visitors can also explore the fishing villages and coconut plantations, temples scattered all over the island, the water falls of Samui, the butterfly garden, the farm snakes, the rock formations of Hin Ta and Hin Yai, the monkeys shows, wildlife parks where admire tigers, elephants and crocodiles, markets find objects of any kind, Thai massage parlors and Thai boxing matches.
