The capital Agana offers several places of interest, such as the ruins of the Casa Gobierno, the historical museum of Guam, the Statue of Liberty in miniature, the Cathedral of Dulce Number of Maria, the Spanish Steps, and especially the Latte Park, where are the stone pillars on which the Chamarros once built their houses, and which are symbols of the island, with their form of mushroom.

A visa is not required for a stay of less than 90 days, but you must have a valid passport 6 months after the return date, a return ticket and an application for admission (same conditions as in the USA).

To reach Guam, an international airport is 5 km from the capital Agana, which can be reached by bus or taxi.

Travel within the island is done by bus (schedules and routes rather anarchic), or by taxi. You can also rent a car if you can afford it, or a bicycle (in Tumon).

Accommodation: You can easily find a hotel out of the Japanese holidays, but the rates are quite expensive: about 100 € for a double room in an average hotel. It is now possible to rent rooms or apartments in private homes, such as Airbnb, which is more affordable.

Health: There is no particular health problem, but as always it is prudent to have up to date universal vaccinations, even if they are not required.

Shopping: The duty-free status of Guam makes it a privileged place for shopping, which the Japanese appreciate very much!
