City located to the east of China, the Yangtze River, Suzhou has over six million inhabitants, and is located a hundred kilometers from Shanghai. Almost half of the city is covered by water and covered channels, giving it the nickname Venice of the East. Rich in its culture and its history, it was the cradle of Wu culture, and its gardens, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, which are miniature nature are world-famous: they are sixty and nine of them are World Heritage by UNESCO, with very poetic names such as the Garden of Waves Pavilion or the Garden of the Lion Grove. The city is served by many means of transport, but does not have an airport: however, it is connected by shuttle buses to those of Shanghai and Hangzhou. To move around the city, you can choose between cycling, practiced and very popular, the pedicab, and conventional taxis.
