Provisions for travellers
Entry to the territory: Allowed
Fully vaccinated non-resident foreign nationals are now permitted to enter Paraguay by air, so long as they follow health protocols.
The Paraguayan authorities have also left a window open for people with medical conditions that make vaccination counterproductive, as well as residents of Paraguay who do not have the full scheme and also those who argue humanitarian reasons.
Travelers aged 12 and up who do not have a complete vaccination record must present a negative RT-PCR/LAMP/NAAT COVID-19 test result taken no more than 72 hours before departure.
Travelers to Paraguay no longer have to fill out the Traveler’s Health Affidavit Form; the COVID-19 vaccination certificate is established as the only health requirement for entering Paraguay.
Travelers aged 12 and up must present a primary vaccination record as to enter the country. (One dose or two doses according to the type of vaccine).

As of 19 April 2022, the Paraguayan government has lifted its COVID-19 related restrictions. Nevertheless, facemask use is recommended in open and closed (indoor) spaces, where ventilation is poor or where there are large gatherings of people.
