Located in Quang Nam province in Vietnam, Hoi An is built on the Thu Bon River, and has nearly 120,000 inhabitants. As part of the World Heritage of UNESCO, it was once on the Silk Road. Many buildings (840 in total) have an architecture or history that make them of great interest for travelers visiting the city, such as the Japanese Covered Bridge, built in 1593, with his pair of statues erected to each end. Other remarkable sites: the facades of houses with bright colors, the roofs covered with concave or convex tiles, representing the yin and yang, the wooden houses of jackfruit, the sampans which cross the river, the market colors and smells multiple, fishermen in the early morning that bring their catch, all combine to give you the impression that time has suspended its course. You can buy customized clothes by tailors of the city, or make a trip along the river, to immerse you even more fully in this city with obsolete charms. Do not miss a stroll through the cobbled streets to discover the artisans at work everywhere, visit the House of Tran Family Worship or the common house of the congregation with Chinese paintings and statues. Hoi An is accessed by air via Danang airport, located 45 minutes by car. There are also bus services and a railway station in the city.
