The most populated city in Scotland, although it is not in the capital, Glasgow has 600 000 inhabitants (over two million for its agglomeration), making it the third largest city in the UK. Situated in the west of the country, it is built on the banks of the Clyde. Its climate is oceanic, and benefits from mild winters, but fairly cool summers. It is served by two international airports. Since the late 80s, the city experienced an economic boom, which has direct consequences for its tourism activity, as is now among the top 10 most visited cities in the world. She was also named UNESCO city of music in 2008. What to see in Glasgow?
