City of Scotland located on the North Sea, north-east, Aberdeen is one of the most prosperous cities in the UK. It has just under 230 000. Living essentially the exploitation of offshore oil, it nevertheless keeps a rather provincial charm. Nicknamed "the Granite City", it is built between the sea, forests and moors, and gray stones contrast beautifully with streets decorated with various flowers, pink, daffodils and crocus, whose flowering is promoted by the ocean climate. It also has a rich heritage and many sites to visit: the museum of the history of the city, the Maritime Museum housed in the oldest house in the city (the Provost Ross's House, 16th century), the Hazelhead park that every year an athletics and music competition, Union Street, busy main road and lined with pubs and clubs, the beautiful St Machar Cathedral. Be sure to take a stroll on the long sandy beach, and if you love golf, do a course at the Royal Aberdeen Golf Course. Is accessed by plane Aberdeen Dyce airport (9 km from the center), and go to town, you can take the bus or a taxi, or rent a car. There are also many cycling.
