Eighteen wonders to see in Bali

Why a trip or a stay in Bali?

The first tourist destination of Indonesia remains an island quite different from the rest of the archipelago, if only because its population is Hindu, as evidenced by many temples and historical buildings.

Small by its size (5 600 km2) but big by its fame, “The island of the gods” as it is known, has developed a tourism, especially seaside, now widely recognized. Bali remains the main destination of many travelers in Indonesia with more than five million visitors each year from Australia, China and Japan for what is the top three countries.

Its paradisiacal beaches, its lakes and rivers, its landscapes of rice terraces, its forests, its mountains (the top of the island is at more than 3 000 meters) which leave only a small place to the coastal plains, and its volcanoes (of which several are active) attract quite a lot of people even if the island remains quite rainy during the year and a little bit crowded at certain times…
