Entry to the territory: Allowed
Commercial flights are operating, and international air and land borders are open.
Fully vaccinated travelers do not require any form of negative COVID test results but are required to provide proof of full vaccination status. Fully vaccinated means complete doses of a vaccine-for example, first and second doses of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine.
Not fully vaccinated international travelers MUST show proof of a COVD-19 PCR test for a sample collected within 72 hours of departure from the country of origin.
Children below the age of 12 years old are exempt from these measures.
Zambia has implemented limited screening upon arrival at the international airport in Lusaka. The screening entails completing COVID-19 risk assessment form and may include using no-touch thermometers (“thermo-scanners”) to check body temperature. Symptomatic individuals will be required to self-isolate for 14 days and may be asked to submit samples for additional COVID-19 testing.

Zambia has implemented multiple public health measures to curb the spread of COVID-19 within its borders:
Wearing a facemask is required in all public spaces, including on public transport.
Maintaining social distancing of 1 meter (3 feet) is required, and individuals are urged to avoid crowded places.
Individuals must wash their hands frequently with soap and water or sanitize them with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Persons are urged to seek medical attention in a timely manner if feeling unwell.
Businesses, governmental institutions, and other establishments may require individuals to adhere to additional COVID-19-related measures to enter their premises or access services. Some establishments and services may be subject to reduced operating schedules.
