A city located in the north of Morocco, Tangier is separated from Europe by 15 small kilometers, and has approximately 700,000 inhabitants. Its Mediterranean climate, however, is influenced by the proximity of the Atlantic Ocean, and its seasons are distinct, with mild winters and warm summers. Tangier is accessible from Paris, thanks to its international airport, but you can also do this by train and ferry. Long considered the cultural capital of the country, its landscapes special charm attracted many artists. You'll enjoy it you also for its lush vegetation, its long beach and its beautiful light, but also for its medina and its souk (the famous Grand Socco), and its enchanting atmosphere. Also visit the Kasbah district where former city palace will stand; France's place in the modern city, with its great Café de Paris; will admire the Sidi Bou Abid Mosque with its minaret in multicolored faience remarkable. The curious can discover the museum Dar el Makhzen which traces the history of the city through many Moroccan art, which is housed in a beautiful palace built around a peaceful courtyard.
