The main town on the island of Majorca, in the Balearic Islands in Spain, Palma has a little over 400,000 inhabitants. Located on the southern coast of the island, it is marked by its history linked to that of the Crown of Aragon, from the 13th Century, to which time several monuments and buildings can be dated. It has a typical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild winters. There are many sites to visit in the city; the cathedral is a large and particularly remarkable Gothic building overlooking the sea, but also do not miss the circular Bellver Castle, with its three towers and dungeon, you can stroll through the narrow streets to discover the attractive traditional shaded patios, walk along the ramparts and admire the view over the bay, stop in Plaza Mayor, where the pedestrian streets converge and you will find cafes and restaurants to refresh and sustain you at unforgettable prices too!
