The capital of Russia, Moscow is the largest city in Europe with over ten million inhabitants. Located on the Moskva River, it is the economic and political centre for the country, and also has a rich architectural heritage with the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, Red Square, and the Danilov Monastery to quote just a few examples.
