Capital of Mayotte, Mamoudzou has just over 57 000 inhabitants. Located on Grande-Terre, it was built between the coast and the mountains. The airport which serves it is on Petite-Terre and maritime shuttles allow binding every half hour. The city brings together all the authorities and business, it also retains its local market, which is a site not to be missed during a tourist visit. To move, there are urban taxis and you can hire a car. You will discover some interesting places such as the former governor's house, the Creole houses of the artisan district, the Botanical Garden of the tip Mahabou, the seafront promenade.
