What to do in Lucca : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
Located in Tuscany, Italy, Lucca has roughly 85,000 inhabitants and is located about twenty kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea. walled city, it has many historical monuments, palaces and Romanesque churches. You can also visit two national museums, a beautiful botanical garden, and perhaps attend the Cartoon Festival, animation and game, Lucca Comics & Games, or in August at the festival dedicated to Puccini. Very nice cited less known than its neighboring Tuscany, Lucca has yet preserved magnificent medieval testimonies, as bastions and walls, palaces and streets; you can walk on foot or by bike, on landscaped walls, lined with trees, a distance of 4 km; also visit the site of the Roman amphitheater where the houses were gradually built on the circular foundations of this ancient monument which remains only the form.
