Libya has a number of measures and restrictions to limit the spread of COVID-19. Implementation of these measures has been relaxed but they may be tightened again at short notice. National and local restrictions may change without warning.
Public, cultural, sports and social events are banned.
Prayer in places of worship is now allowed but social distancing measures should be followed.
Weddings and organized funerals with mourners are banned.Large gatherings are prohibited.
Proof of vaccination is required to enter wedding halls, amusement parks, markets, government, and judiciary offices.
Public parks and markets are closed until further notice.
Restaurants and cafes are allowed to open, however people are not allowed to dine inside.
Barbershops, and non-essential businesses are closed until further notice.
