Situated in Spain, southern Andalucia, Granada is built at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. It was once the capital of the last Muslim kingdom on the Iberian land, and keeps sumptuous architectural testimonies that make it a major tourist attraction. Populated by slightly less than 250 000 inhabitants, Granada is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO and it attracts millions of travelers worldwide each year.
