What to do in Beauvais : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants


BeauvaisFrench city of Oise, in blast-de-France, Beauvais has just under 55 000 inhabitants, and is known for its Gothic cathedral, the highest in the country: the construction of it started in 1225 but many adventures, natural disasters or wars in delayed and prevented the completion. The fact remains that it is more than 72 meters high, and its vaults of 47 meters are the highest in the world. Also found inside a magnificent astronomical clock, made of 90,000 pieces, including 52 dials and 68 automata. Beauvais is accessed via the A16 motorway from Paris, or train, and the city also has an airport that serves Italy, Spain, Morocco and even Poland and Romania through low companies -cost. To move around the city, there are a dozen bus lines.
