Maps and Facts

The Bahamas have an almost permanent sunshine, but it is not their only asset: their temperate climate cooled by trade winds, mild temperatures of winter, the heat very bearable in the summer, make a destination almost ideal year-round. Even during the rainy season between May and November, precipitation remained generally quite sporadic, particularly in the south. Avoid, however, this area between June and August, when the heat is a little stuffy, but the rest is very pleasant and the water suitable for bathing. Winter can be quite chilly north.
