Bahamas: Climate & Weather
The Bahamas profit from almost permanent sunshine although this is not their only advantage: Their temperate climate cooled by the trade winds, warm temperatures in winter, hot but not overbearing temperatures in summer have made this an ideal destination nearly all year round.
Even during the rainy season, between May and November, downfall is generally sporadic especially towards the south. It is still advisable though to avoid this area between June and August as the heat can be a little too much at times but the rest of these territories remain very pleasant and the waters agreeably warm for swimming. Winter can be a little cool towards the north. |
