What to do in Zambia

Zambia: The basics


A visa is required to enter the country.

The current currency is the Zambian kwacha (ZMK).

If you are traveling to Zambia by plane, you will need 14 hours flight from Paris with a stopover in London or South Africa.

For your travel within the country, there are internal airlines to the most important cities, but also buses and 3 lines of trains. You can also rent a car but be aware that the roads are not everywhere in very good condition.
