What to do in Anguilla

The beaches are undeniably the most beautiful attractions of the region, and they compete to offer the tourist their white sand and turquoise water, coves or long immaculate expanses.

One can however visit some interesting sites, like the house Wallblake House, restored plantation built in 1787; On Sandy Hill, the ruins of a Dutch fort built in the 17th century; The salt ponds of Sandy Ground and West End; The tomb of Governor Richardson; The Bethel Methodist Church, a beautiful stone building; The former salt extraction plant. Between April and November, you can observe the turtles laying their eggs and perhaps see the baby turtles hatch, then their race to reach the sea.

Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a wide range of water activities and bicycle rides or horseback riding. There are also several festive events during the year, carnival, regattas or music festival.
