The Sudanese capital of Khartoum has about 5 million inhabitants if we talk agglomeration term. It is located at the confluence of the White Nile and Blue Nile, is the center of the country. To move it, you have the opportunity to take the bus or a taxi (or as traditional tuk-tuk, a kind of motor tricycle, cheaper), or hire a car with or without driver. Be sure to also visit the Dinder National Park or take a felucca ride on the Nile. Near the capital, you can also discover some very interesting places, like the pyramids of Meroe, the Anglo-African homes of Atbara, the ancient temples of Karima and Marawi, or the tropical gardens Kassala with cultures of mangoes and bananas.
