The Australian climate has reversed seasons compared to those of our hemisphere, but there are variations between different regions of this vast country. In the north, which has a distinctly tropical climate, alternating just a dry season and wet season, with few differences between the two temperatures (22 ° C in winter to 30 ° C in summer). The interior of the continent is desert, very dry and hot during the day and with very low temperatures at night. The winters are very cold also in the south, especially in Tasmania and in the mountains. You can go all year depending on the area you want to visit: December to February (austral summer) you prefer the south, then from June to August (winter) the north will be very pleasant, and the center provides then a fairly temperate climate. |

Economic resources are varied, and tourism is: Queensland is in fact the state's premier tourist destination Australia and the tropical climate of the city, perfect all year round and attracts visitors. Its architecture combines Victorian and colonial style, its unique environment, modernity where nature is always present, a beach located in the heart of the city, make it a place apart and always conducive to a variety of pleasures.
To visit the city, bicycles are an ideal way with the bus, but you can choose the kayak, which will give you a totally different point of view along the River. The city is also a paradise for sportsmen and a great place for art lovers, thanks to the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art, opened in 2006, bringing together international collections and unique.
Brisbane may also constitute a starting point of choice to start the discovery of the South Queensland region.
Capital of the Australian federation, Canberra has about 350,000 inhabitants. See Australian Government, the city was built in the early 20th century around a lake, and has vast areas of natural vegetation. It is bisected by the river Molonglo.
The city is also an important cultural center, across several institutions, such as the National Gallery of Australia, National Library and National Museum. • Adelaide
Fifth Australian city, and state capital of Méeidionale Australia, Adelaide has more than one million inhabitants. Located on the east bank of the Australian continent, it enjoys a Mediterranean climate, and enjoys the lowest rainfall of all Australian cities.
Your discovery of the city can be easily done on foot. The shopping street, Rundle Street, is the largest mall in the entire southern hemisphere. You can visit the district of Victoria Square, with buildings of colonial architecture, the buildings of the chic North Terrace, then relax on the beaches located in the city.
Some other sites worth your attention: the colonial house Ayers House, the Church of the Holy Trinity Church of Scotland North Terrace, the beautiful Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery for its collection of ceramics from Southeast Asia East and Tandanya Aboriginal institute, which rightly reminds us that the city was built on an Aboriginal Lands, that of the Kaurna people.
The city has a vibrant cultural life, making it the second largest city in Australia to this point of view.
Departing from Adelaide, you can also go in an hour in the Barossa Valley, famous for its exceptional vineyards.
Located in the Australian outback, Alice Springs is a city of just over twenty thousand inhabitants. Settled 70% of aborigines, the city enjoys a dry climate, with fairly cool nights.
The city itself offers little of interest but it is the ideal base for visitors wishing to explore the Australian desert trekking, 4x4, or quads, swim in water holes, test site in the bush, or exploring in search of precious stones.
In addition, a number of festivals and other cultural events organized in the city throughout the year: the Alice Desert Festival featuring visual and performing arts, sporting events like horse racing or racing, and especially the Art Trail highlighting Aboriginal culture, are some examples sufficiently original to be recorded.
But you can also provide experiences a little more adventurous, like discovering the majestic beauty of the outback at dawn aboard a balloon, or relive a part of local history during a trip to camel along the dry riverbed Todd River.
