Alice Springs

Alice SpringsLocated in the Australian outback, Alice Springs is a city of just over twenty thousand inhabitants. Settled 70% of aborigines, the city enjoys a dry climate, with fairly cool nights.

The city itself offers little of interest but it is the ideal base for visitors wishing to explore the Australian desert trekking, 4x4, or quads, swim in water holes, test site in the bush, or exploring in search of precious stones.

In addition, a number of festivals and other cultural events organized in the city throughout the year: the Alice Desert Festival featuring visual and performing arts, sporting events like horse racing or racing, and especially the Art Trail highlighting Aboriginal culture, are some examples sufficiently original to be recorded.

But you can also provide experiences a little more adventurous, like discovering the majestic beauty of the outback at dawn aboard a balloon, or relive a part of local history during a trip to camel along the dry riverbed Todd River.
