LjubljanaCapital of Slovenia, Ljubljana has a little less than 300,000 inhabitants. Located at the crossroads of many cultures, it is marked by its history and is influenced by Germanic, Slavic and Latin.

It has an intact historic center, where you can explore constructions of Baroque and Art Nouveau, but also the 12th century castle which dominates the hill, which is connected to downtown by a cable car, the St. Nicolas Cathedral with its Twin Towers and its green dome, the church of St. Peter, the Dragon Bridge and impressive statues, Robba's Fountain and the triple bridge. Besides monuments, the city is home to galleries and museums like the Museum of Contemporary Art or the Museum of Natural History, but also theaters, which are home to many cultural events.

To move inside the city, the bus is the means of transport easier, unless you prefer to rent a bike. Regarding accommodation, the Tourism Office of the City offers many possibilities, including hotels, cottages, campsites and tourist farms.
