Towns in Thailand
Capital of Thailand, the city has more than six million people, or 12 million by some estimates. The city is divided in two by the Chao Phraya. On its right bank, there is the most traditional of the city, crossed by canals connected to the river and on the left bank, stands the most important tourist attraction and with modern districts.
Several monuments and sites are not to be missed, including temples, Wat Pho with its huge reclining Buddha, the Royal Palace and Emerald Buddha, the Vimarn Mek, a former royal palace in golden teak and transformed into a museum, for example without forgetting the old neighborhood and the Bang Phra Athit Lampu. But the lure of this city is also surprising in its activity, that of a huge market where you can find anything from flowers, food, clothing, objects, and maintain all your senses.
The nightlife is also very present and very lively. Yet this does not prevent you from Bangkok to find places where quiet and calm and relax, whether temples or parks.
You will be fascinated by this city hectic activity and combines the wonders of the past.
