Maps and Facts

Nepal has a dry season from October to May, when temperatures can soar above 30 ° C in Kathmandu, followed by a wet season from June to September. But you can fly to Nepal in every season depending on the location that you choose to visit. If you make a trek in the mountains, do so between October and March to avoid the rain and enjoy a good sunshine. You will however be very cold in December and January if you exceed the 3,000 m. Avoid Kathmandu in May and June when the heat is unbearable, and when mud invades the streets and roads.
