Maps and Facts
|
Ecuador is characterized by a rapidly changing climate due to altitude differences and geography affect the temperature in each city. During the day, it is common to spend great time with high heat in a heavy rain or vice versa, and this, in a few hours. The country has only two main seasons: a wet season and dry season. During the dry season from June to September, the country has low rainfall and temperatures relatively bearable. During the wet season extending from April to June, the heat is strong enough. We note however that in the rainy season, spring seems to last throughout the year in the Central Valley, with temperatures approaching 24 ° C. In Ecuador, the rainy season does not mean incessant rainfall and the country remains largely accessible to visitors during this period. Finally, note that if the period from June to September is the most favorable to the visit, Ecuador remains a country humid throughout the year, even during the period known as "dry". |
