Zimbabwe should have been a country with a warm climate if one refers to its geographical position, however, by its topography, which place more than about 900 meters above the sea, the country enjoys pleasantly temperate climate. Winter starts in May and ends in October. During this period, you will receive beautiful sunny days and cool nights with temperatures that can drop to 0 °. It is also the ideal time to observe hundreds of species of animals as they come to concentrate near water points. From November until April, the country is plunged in the middle of summer. Zimbabwe is particularly popular for its magnificent nature.

Zimbabwe : The basics
The easiest way to get in Zimbabwe is by air, via South Africa in general.
A visa is required. The current currency is the Zimbabwe dollar. The budget provision is low: you can eat for about 10 € in the hotel restaurants, and € 1 in the stalls of street! You stay in hostels style structures will cost about ten euros. The entries in the parks are relatively moderate. Regarding health, vaccinations are recommended classics, plus those against yellow fever, typhoid, hepatitis A and B, and the usual precautions are followed: do not drink tap water, wash hands , sun protection and mosquito, peeling fruit and vegetables, do not swim in stagnant water. To travel there, there are routes to tourist areas, but also buses. The bike can also be a good solution, but it is not possible to enter bike in national parks. |
