On the south coast, around Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and the weather is dry and mild from September to March, also at this time that the water temperature is most pleasant. Johannesburg is beautiful : blacks and whites alongside finally at peace, bustling center, the Apartheid Museum, tour of Soweto, will give a first impression of the country.

Cape Town lies at the foot of Table Mountain in a beautiful setting of mountains and beaches. You will need several days to exhaust its riches: the flea market in Greenmarket Square, the cable car ascent of Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, the port and its bustling nightlife, nature reserve around the Cape of Good Hope farther south, are some examples.

One of the largest reserves in the world, the Kruger National Park, offers you the opportunity to experience Africa the way you expect: lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes frolicking amidst magnificent scenery, and you can approach by car. You can also spend a night or two on-site camping facilities or more luxurious.

Durban and its surroundings are also worth a visit for the beaches and water so warm, but also the Indian district, the market and the Juma mosque. The fans here will find surf spots known globally.

The country is increasingly well served by airlines you can fly to Johannesburg, but Cape Town and Durban.
