What to do in Symi : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
Dodecanese Island in Greece, Symi has about 2500 inhabitants, and it is one of the most beautiful islands of the archipelago, offering the traveler looks barren terrain contrasting with a sea of intense blue, pretty coves and a port the neoclassical architecture of charm, whose houses cling to the hillside to the sea, forming without doubt one of the most remarkable villages of the country, and one of the most preserved. Natural side again, the beaches are suitable for many water sports, while night owls can also take advantage of the few bars open at night in Ano Symi and Gialos, although the nightlife is not the specialty of Symi. Symi is accessed by boat from Rhodes in three quarters of an hour, but also from Mykonos and Piraeus. To move on the island, there is a bus that connects Gialos and Ano Symi, and taxis, unless you prefer to rent a scooter despite the bad roads.
