BrestTown in Brittany, in the extreme northwest of the Breton peninsula, Brest has slightly less than 140 000 inhabitants. Known for its important port activity, it has become today also a university town leading. It is reached by train from Paris (the station is the terminus of the line), as well as the road from Paris via Nantes or Quimper. There is also a nearby airport of the city.
